Grading
At the PhD level, students start with an A, which they can lose based on the quality of their work, their willingness to accept and use feedback and their involvement in our scholarly discussion on Moodle. I provide feedback and will let you know how you are doing. If you want a more conventional approach to grades, you can think of it this way: Papers: 90% of your grade. Discussion, involvement: 10% of your grade. To receive full credit, post one major posting, and responses to two other posts. Keep in mind that anything below a B- at Fielding is considered failing. Also keep in mind that you are welcome to resubmit all papers except the final capstone essay. Questions? Please let me know. |
